Going fast needs the best equipment. You need parts that are designed to help you cut through the air. You need parts that are stiff and will not flex. You need parts that are reliable and will work. For you we have our Aero 86 wheel, a deep section carbon fiber monster that comes with your choice of DT Swiss hubs.

Our Aero 86 wheels are the perfect choice for those of us who race time trials and triathlons. They will give you a great aero boost without being too precarious in the wind. Like all of our Aero rims, our 86mm deep rims are constructed from a mix of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber.

The mixing of the carbon fiber cloths has allowed our tubeless ready rim to be super stiff and strong. When you’re laying out your watts, our wheel will stay straight and true. There will be no sideways flex that costs you a few watts as you power down the road.

Making sure our wheel is reliable we offer you a choice of DT Swiss hubs for our 86 wheel. You can pick from either the 240S or the 350S. Both of these hubs feature the DT Swiss star ratchet system, that means as soon as your thinking about pedaling the hub has already connected and is transferring your power. The difference between the hubs is that the 350S is more cost effective, and the 240S is lighter.

We carried on the theme of light, stiff, and strong to the spokes. We will lace your new wheel with a set of Sapim CX-Ray aero spokes. These spokes meld titanium weight with steel stiffness — the perfect compliment to our rim.

Features

Wide Rim Tech

25mm rim wide creates a better, more stable support, while the shape of the tire and rim together creates regular, stable air flow, in short, more aerodynamics, less attrition. provides an ideal basis for 25/28mm tires, the sizes currently popular.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

Sapim CX-RAY As light as a titanium spoke

The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray suitable for most bicycle disciplines. CX-Ray spokes are used by top bike racers and triathletes around the world.
