When you need to go fast, you need a great set of wheels. Yes, you can trade hard, but a great set of wheels will help to finalize the deal for you. You’ll be fast. You’ll know your fast, and that will lead to great performances out on the road. Our Aero 50 carbon fiber wheels the wheels to help you achieve your riding goals.

Our Aero 50 wheels are based on our older model, the Fast and Light 50. The Aero 50 took these are their design blueprint, and then thanks to a new carbon fiber layup, reduced their weight by around 100g per wheelset.

You still get the same wide, aero, and tubeless ready rim profile but you just save some weight. Don’t worry as the wheels are just as stiff and strong as they were before. We still sell them with a 2-year guarantee and a UCI certification.

As well as this, we have beefed up the brake track. On the Fast and Light rims, our brake tracks could tolerate 240°, and now thanks to our new design they can deal with temperatures up to 300°.

You’ll also find the new sealed bearing ICAN R01 hubset on our Aero wheels. The R01 hubset further help to reduce weight as it has a lower spoke count than is found on the hubs on our Fast and Light series. The R01 hubs are easy to maintain and service, and should provide you with years of faultless service.

We have laced these hubs to our carbon fiber rim using Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Sapim are one of the world’s leading spoke manufacturers, and their knowledge is found embedded in the aero CX-Ray spokes.

Features

Wide Rim Tech

25mm rim wide creates a better, more stable support, while the shape of the tire and rim together creates regular, stable air flow, in short, more aerodynamics, less attrition. provides an ideal basis for 25/28mm tires, the sizes currently popular.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

Sapim CX-RAY As light as a titanium spoke

The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray suitable for most bicycle disciplines. CX-Ray spokes are used by top bike racers and triathletes around the world.

UCI Approved

This wheelset has been certified and approved by the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), for use in UCI sanctioned road races.
